CAKES 1. -Orange Butter Cake. 橙味牛油疍糕

Ingredients:-
250 g Butter, 1 cup Sugar,
1 1/2 cup Plain Flour, 1 tsp. Baking powder, 1/8 tsp salt,
6 egg (separated), 1/2 tsp vanilla extract,
1 tbsp Milk, 2 tbsp Orange Juice, 1 Orange rind.

材料:-
牛油 250克,糖 1 杯,
麺粉 1 1/2 杯,發粉 1 茶匙,鹽 1/8 茶匙,
旦 6 只(白及黃分開), 雲尼喇香油 1/2 茶匙,
牛奶 1 湯匙,橙汁 2 湯匙,橙青 1 個。

Method : -
1) Beat egg whites in a mixing bowl with electric beaters until stiff peak form.
2) Beat butter to creamy and add sugar gradually until looks creamy white.
3) Add in the egg yolks one by one, keep stirring.
4) Sieve flour, baking powder and salt, add into the butter together with milk, orange
juice, orange rind and vanilla extract.
5) Fold the egg white gently into flour mixture. Arrange into the grease prepared containers.
6) Bake 160* for 1 hour or until cakes turn brown. (small cakes 1/2 hour) Serve!
# Can use Lemon juice or Lime juice instead of Orange juice to make other favor.

做法:-
1) 用電動打旦器將旦白打起。
2) 將牛油搅成奶油状,續漸加入糖継續搅至奶白色。
3) 將旦黄續隻加入搅透。
4) 麵粉、發粉、盐同篩匀,與牛奶、橙汁相交加入牛油內,後加橙青及香油。
5) 將打起之旦白輕捲入牛油麵粉內,要捲均匀。倒入已搽油之糕盆模內。
6) 用 160* 焗 1 小時或焗至旦糕金黄。(如做小旦糕 1/2 小時便成)供食!
#. 可用檸檬汁或青檸汁代替橙汁,使做成不同口味。
