CHINESE DIM SUM 1 - Fat Choi Crispy Triangles. 花生油角仔(發財酥角)

Ingredients:-

Pastry crust: 1 cup Plain Flour, 2 tbsp custard powder, 1 tbsp sugar,
2 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp soft butter, 5 tbsp water.

Fillings: 1 1/2 cups Baked peanuts (chopped), 5 tbsp shredded coconut,
3 tbsp sugar, 4 tbsp fried sesame, all mix well.
2 tbsp maple syrup ( this make the fillings sticky, help to work
easier and taste better)

材料:-

皮料: 麵粉 1 杯,吉士粉 2 湯匙,糖 1 湯匙,油 2 湯匙,軟牛油 2 湯匙,水 5 湯匙。

餡料:去衣花生 1 杯半(焗金黃及壓碎), 椰絲 5 湯匙,糖 3 湯匙,炒香芝麻 4 湯匙,
糖膠 2 湯匙(增加黏度易包和口感)

Method : -
1) Put flour on table, make a well in centre, put in sugar, oil, butter,
custard powder and water; rub all the mixture combined into dough.
2) Roll and cut into small portions with a round ring.
3) Put fillings on thin crusts and wrap into triangles.
4) High heat half bottle of oil, soak triangles in hot oil until slightly brown
and crispy. Take out and rest for a while, reheat oil fry the triangles
second time make more crispy. Take out and serve.
Put in a air-tight container after cool down can keep crispy for a week or so.
#. This recipe can make 34 pcs triangles, these triangles means
gold in Chinese New Year.

做法 : -
1) 將麵粉放枱上,中間開一穴,加入糖、油、牛油、吉士粉及水,
搓成柔軟適中粉糰。
2) 用麺棍將粉糰壓約一分厚,用圓模印成小塊。
3) 放入適量之馅包成角形,鎖好边。
4) 倒下半瓶油,熱油至將滚放入角仔炸至金黄香脆。
取出略涼,再熱油炸第二次,使之更鬆脆。
盛起掠凍供食,或放入密封盒內,可存放一星期以上也香脆。
# 此份量可做 34 只角仔,這酥角在中国新年代表黄金。是新年的好兆头食品!
